Our mission is to curate a notable design that supports your unique lifestyle, while simultaneously providing a creative yet functional solution to your needs. Our design approach reflects a timeless, traditional aesthetic while incorporating individualized finishing touches for a completed authentic space. We are committed to working closely in conjunction with your architect and contractors to establish a smooth design process from beginning to end. We build honest relationships with our clients in order to provide the best possible design experience while we transform your house into your forever home.

Erica Stoppenhagen
Owner & Principal Designer
From a very young age, Erica always aspired to use her love for art and design in some form or fashion. It was her Aunt and Uncle who introduced her to the world of architectural design. That introduction was all it took to pursue a career in design and she hasn’t looked back since.
Erica attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, initially majoring in architecture, but soon realized that her true passion was interior architecture and design. She received her degree in Interior Design in 2015.
Erica began her design career in 2015 working for Axis Architecture & Interiors, out of Indianapolis, Indiana, as a commercial interior designer. Through Axis, she has had the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of multi-million dollar commercial projects including civic, corporate, healthcare, housing, and retail. Although, she has enjoyed the experience gained in the commercial field, her true love for design lies in high end residential design.
A few years after moving back to her hometown near Fort Wayne, Indiana, Erica founded House At Primrose in 2022. With her faith being centered around Christ, her Christianity will serve as a foundation for House At Primrose.
In her free time, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband, Clayton, her son, Fletcher and her golden retriever, Leo. Some of her other favorite past times include spending time at the lake, coffee(latte) dates, exploring new restaurants, and all things design.

Erica has lived in many places throughout her life, but one place that she holds dear to her heart is a little house on Primrose Avenue in Broadripple, IN, where she met her husband Clayton.
